Someone broke into my account. What do I do?

We're sorry that you think your account has been accessed without your permission. We have a few suggestions as to how you can prevent this problem from re-occurring in the future:

-Change the passwords on your Manhunt account and external email account to something others won't be able to guess. We recommend that the new password be a series of letters and numbers and that your email account and Manhunt account do not have the same password.
-Uncheck "Remember Me" on the Manhunt login page. That way, if anyone has access to your computer, they won't be able to sign in to your account without knowing your password.
-Disable the auto-complete (or automatic remember login) feature in your internet browser.
-Create a new email account specifically for Manhunt that only you know about. Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, etc. are great for this. Since our system will only send your password information to your registered email by request, it's a good idea to have an email set up specifically for your account.

If you received your password without requesting it, please be advised that there is no need to be alarmed. Other members often mistype a screen name and mistakenly request a password for an account that is not theirs. Changing your password regularly will help alleviate concerns about this particular issue as well.
